Abstrakt     Studies of the feline virus (FIV) suggest that the HIV virus that appeared in humans approximately 200 years ago is its grandgrandchild. Lions and other cats have developed with the virus for several millennia, thus forming a non-agressive relationship. And what happened in the cats will probably happen in humans: HIV in humans will finally become a symbiont.
