| Abstrakt | Iatrogenic irritants are frequently encountered in denal patients. Pathological processes of the periodontal and dental tissues are enhanced by plaque accumulation. Approximate iatrogenic irritants negatively influence the hygiene of the interdental space. The practitioner must prevent secondary caries and periodontal problems due to the presence of marginal irritants. Should iatrogenic irritants occur, they must be removed as soon as possible. Hard dental tissues, gingiva and restorations can be damaged when iatrogenic irritants are incorrectly removed. With the EVA-System such damage can be avoided. | |
