Abstrakt		Determination method of residues of phenothiazine transquillizers propiopromazine, chlorpromazine and acepromazine in kidneys of slaughter pigs was introduced. Foreign published and tested methodology was followed including the modifications for adaptation to the conditions of the "home" lab. After alkaline digest the samples were extracted with diethyl ether and purified with SPE Bond Elut Diol minicolumns and further liquid-liquid extraction. Measurements were performed with capillary gas chromatography (HP Ultra 2 stationary phase) using NP selective detector. The results were evaluated according to studies of the spiked blank samples. The quantification was performed due to the external standard. Selectivity was good for PP and AP, while for CLP smaller background valued from 2 to 5 micro g/kg was occasionally detected. Average intra-day recoveries for spiked parallel samples at 50 micro g/kg ("gross" standards) were between 54,8% with C.V. between 8,5% and 15,3% (intra-day precision). Limits of detection were between 2,7 micro g/kg and 10 micro g/kg. Method can be used also for determination of investigated promazine in porcine liver, meat, urine and serum. Due to the long clean-up and NP detection it is suitable mostly for confirmation purposes.
