Abstrakt		The aim of the research was to determine the reliability of some motor tests and the structure of motor abilities of three year old children. The sample was comprised of 150 three year old children of both sexes from 18 kindergartens in the city of Ljubljana. Twenty three fundamental motor tests were used to establish the latent structure of motor dimensions. The majority of measurement procedures have adequate metric characteristics. Using the Gittman-Kaiser criterion we have isolated six latent dimensions (coordination of leg movement, coordination of complex body movement with requisites, flexibility, ability of hand manipulation, coordination of complex body movement, balance), which shows that three year old children have a certain differentiation of motor abilities.
