Abstrakt		General attitude towards the sport of the disabled and differences in this attitude were assessed on a sample of 287 male and female students of the Faculty of Sport, Faculty of Pedagogy, Faculty of Medicine, and of Higher School of Health. The data was obtained by means of a poll questionnaire in which physical disability and sport were dealt with from six different aspects. The differences were gathered from the basic statistical parameters and from the results of a two-factor analysis of variance. It can be concluded that the students are in favour of the sport for the disabled as a factor of better life. Some restraint was found in the attitudes towards competitive sport of the physically disabled. In general, women's attitude is more positive than men's. Surprisigly the lowest level of approval was found with the entire sample of the students at the Faculty of Sport. Some statistically significant differences among the faculties and between the genders exist, the greatest discrepancy found is connected with the effects of sports and recreational activity of the disabled.
