Abstrakt		Management of trauma patients admitted to the hospital trought the accident and emergency service is a continous process which includes admission, diagnostic assessment, terapeutic procedures and nursing care. The nurse, responsible for nursing care, is involved in this process as a member of a multidisciplinary team led by a physician. The allocation of tasks within the group is governed both by functional criteria and by the team concept. In order for teamwork to gain acceptance in our daily work, all team members must promote good relations within the group and optimal rapport with the patient.
