Abstrakt		Emergency medical care in Slovenia is considered solely as procedures done by halth care professionals. Lai public and organizations are excluded from emergency care provision sceem. This is not in accordance with the recommendations of Council of Europe. The article illustrates the importance of regarding emergency medical care as a common responsibility of all parties involved.
