Abstrakt | Oxygen is one of the most important elements. it is vitally needed by all living beings. It is provided by respiratory system and transported to each cell for various physiological processes. oxygen transport can be impaired. This insufficient oxygen transport can lead to hypoxia, which has to be recognized and early treated to prevent definitive tissue damage. Pulse oximetry is the most widely used method for noninvasive and continuous monitoring of haemoglobin oxygen saturation in arterious blood. | |
