Abstrakt		The scanning slit radiography apparatus with a radiographic grid makes possible X ray imaging with reduced transmission of scattered radiation at an enhanced transmission of primary X ray radiation. Another advantage exists in that the construction of the grid assembley has no moving parts. The construction of the radiographic grid in the scanning slit radiography apparatus proposed by the invention completly prevents the imaging of the radiopaque grid strips. During the scanning of the grid there is no cuttoff of the primary X ray beam. The construction of the grid allows a greater hight and width of the radiopaque strips and thereby a more complete suppression of the scatter at the area of the film. The expected results will make possible radiography at higher peak tube tensions with reduction of the tissue absorbed dose. In diagnostic radiology it will be particulary usefull for chest radiography, mamography and for the radiography of the whole spine.
