Abstrakt		Some dental materials give off various constituents that can be harmful for human body. In the past, attention in this area focussed on dental amalgam and mercury. Lately, acrylic resin and composites have also been under investigation. These substances usually cause allergic reactions, but other adverse effects are also possible.
