| Abstrakt | When using a dental laser, it is important to choose the right laser source for a particular application. The energy of laser light is absorbed by the tissue and converted into thermal or mechanical energy. The effect on the tissue depends on the length and energy of the laser pulse, the wavelength of the laser system and the pulse repetition rate. During recent years, extensive clinical and in vitro research has demonstrated the effects of various dental laser treatments on soft and hard dental tissues. | |
