Abstrakt		Metastron is Strontium -89 chloride which we can use for the treatment of metastatic bone pain in patients with prostate and breast cancer. We applied Metastron in the dose of 4 mCi in 4 ml i/v to 8 patients with painful bone metastasis of prostatic cancer. Good analgetic results, which lasted 6 to 9 months, were achieved in 3 patients. 4 patients were improved from 2,5 to 5 months. In 1 patient we repeated application of Metastron once again after 9 months, but without success.
