Abstrakt		Adoption of appropriate legislation is the first decisive step to be taken and this should gradualy change the relation towards environment on all levels of society. Partially Slovenia has already done this with a fundamental law on environmental protection, within which appropriate pre-legislative acts are being prepared. Among them is also the act covering hazardous-waste treatment, which is defining the obligations of both, the state and the possessors of wastes in solving this problems.
