Abstrakt		In the article the principles of treatment of venous leg ulcer are mentioned. Venous leg ulcer is a common diagnostic problem, but is often therapeuticcally resistant. Many new materials for management of ulcers are now available, and also many new compressive materials: films, hydrogels, hidrokolloids, polyurethans, newest compression materials... New possibilites for treatment of leg ulcers may be expected as studies of its pathophysiology and treatment are advancing.
