Abstrakt		Over 200 helminthes can parasitize in many various phases of their development. There are no recent data concerning the infestation with helminthes in preschool children in Slovenia, therefore we tried to establish with a study the degree of infestation in preschool children included in collective care. 200 children from 2 to 6 years og age were included into the investiation. THe eggs of A. lumbricoides, E. vermicularis, T. saginata, T. solium and T. trihiura were searched for the feces and perianal swabs in the frame of microbiologic investigation. The share of infected children was significantly higher as is hown by results obtained with registering records. The most frequent among helminthiases was enterobiasis, followed by ascariasis. Other helminthiases have not been diagnosed.
