Abstrakt		Drugs, enteral feeding and infection with Cl. difficile are the most common causes for iatrogenic diarrhea in intensive care unit (ICU). Diarrhea could be a complication that leads to dehydration and unablesnormal caloric supply of patients. There are some others causes for diarrhea in ICU like invasive procedures, diseases of bowel and some other chronic diseases. Sepsis is common causes of serious diarrhea. Diarrhea could be osmotic or nonosmotic in origin. Stepwise diagnosis is recomanded forrapid and rational therapy.
