Abstrakt		The effects of increased ultraviolet radiation on seed germination, seedling growth and cell division in Norway spruce (Picea abies) was evaluated. Different radiation levels were found to have no influence on germination, but a marked influence on growth and mitotic activity. Treatment effects decreased as distance from the source of radiation increased.
