Abstrakt		In order to determine the difference between the left and the right side of the hip geometry we analyzed parameters that determine hip geometry. These parameters are the femoral head radius, the femoral neck lenght, the colodiaphyseal angle, the horizontal and the vertical distance between the cener of the femoral head the coresponding abductor muscle attachment points on the great trochanter. Our results show no important difference between the left and the right hip geometry so that the reconstruction of the injured hip on one side could be based on the geometry of the healthy one on the other side.
