Abstrakt		Paper deals with the results of comparisons of three longitudinal research project of growth in adolescence period of schoolchildren in Ljubljana (1958-1962, 1978-1982 and 1990-1994). We could compare only boys and girls at the age of 10 and 14 years and parameters: height, weight and sitting height. In the last two surveys we could analysed also BMI and Manouvrier Index. Secular growth changes in height shows greater increases in boys than in girls. The increses are greatest at 14 years old boys. Weight shows similar tendency but with lower intensity. BMI in both sexes and both ages after 12 year period decrease.In the years 1990-1994 the number of children with over normal weight decrease. Manouvrier Index shows that number of boys and girls with longer legs increase from 1978-1982 to 1990-1994 period.
