Abstrakt		The adequacy of the Slovenian text-speech system was tested in terms of acceptability and intelligibility. An extensive evaluationof the quality of the synthetic speech was performed based on ITU-T Recommendations. The major part of the test subjects estimated the synthetic speech to be pleasant and quite natural sounding, sufficiently rapid and not over-articulated.
