Abstrakt		This paper presents our efforts on the phonetic segmentation and labelling of the GOPOLIS database speech signal. This extension of the database is not required by the automatic dialogue application, however, it could be very useful for essential phonetic research of the Slovenian spoken language, and it could provide better initialisation of the stochastic acoustic speech model used within the automatic dialogue system. The paper presents an approach for automatic segmentation and labelling of speech signals using a dynamic time warping alignment of a natural utterance with a synthesised speech signal.
