Abstrakt | The paper describes the use of an 6-d.o.f industrial robot for kinematic tests of synovial joints. The well known hybrid force-position control method was combined with stiffness method to meet the requirements of the medical opplication, where safety is of extreme importance. The tests were performed on a model of human knee. The geometrical model of the human knee was build using CAD system. Kinematic data measured with the robot have been passed to the geometrical model, where different surgical methods of replacing knee ligaments were compared. | |
