Abstrakt     Uninfected healthy mice of C57/bl strain were sacrificed and mononuclear cells were isolated from their speens. Borrelia afzelii cells were ultrasonically dezintegrated to obtain their antigens. Lymphocyte blast transformation test was used for determination of lymphocyte response to six different concentrations of borrelia antigens and to four different concentrations of borrelia antigens and to four different concentrations of concanavalin A. We found out that the B. afzelii antigens induce proliferation of nonimmune mice lymphocytes. Level of lymphocyte proliferation changes according to concentration of antigen. Lymphocyte proliferation stimulated with borelia antigens is lower compared to proliferation induced with usual concentrations of mitogen concanavalin A. Described response may be associated with mitogenic activity of borrelia antigens.
