Abstrakt     CS related HUS occurred early after transplantation in 7 patients (3.5%) with high CS blood trough levels. Clinical pourse was more severe in cadaveric graft recipients and related to more severe histomorphologic forms of thrombotic microangiopathy (TMA). However in most patients graft function improved only with the lowering of CS doseing, except in 1 patient, who was presensitized and in whom in spite of CS cessation and administration of antilymphocytic antibodies and prostacycline graft was lost.
