Abstrakt		Background. Fungal infections are on the increase. Recently we more frequently deal with jaw cavities fungal infection reports which are caused by Aspergillus, and which may be connected with the root apices of teeth in the upper teeth line. By reviewing of possible reasons for changes in the jaw cavities, and by diagnosing of some facial pain types we should also think of the fungal infection possibility. Results. Beside the description of some aspergillosis sinusitis cases on patients the authors describe the diagnostic methods, and likewise the treatment of this infection which may be connected with the roots of teeth treatment.
Izvleček		Izhodišča. Glivične okužbe so v porastu. V zadnjem času se vrstijo vse pogosteje opisi glivičnih okužb čeljustnih votlin, ki jih povzroča Aspergillus in ki so lahko povezane s spremembami na vršičkih zobnih korenin v zgornji zobni vrsti. Ob ocenjevanju možnih vzrokov vnetja v čeljustnih votlinah in ob postavljanju diagnoze pri nekaterih oblikah obrazne bolečine moramo pomisliti tudi na možnost glivične okužbe. Rezultati. Avtorja ob opisu nekaj primerov aspergiloznega sinusitisa pri bolnikih predstavljata načine diagnostike in zdravljenje te okužbe, ki je lahko povezana z zdravljenjem zobnih korenin.
