| Abstrakt | Immunological techniques are used to detect, identify, and quantify antigens in clinical samples as well as to evaluate the antibody response to infection and a patient's history of exposure to infectious antigens. The specifity of the antibody - antigen interaction and the sensitivity of many of the immunological techniques make them powerful laboratory tools. In addition, immunological techniques are used to evaluate the immune function in order to detect a deficient immune response. | |
| Izvleček | Z imunološkimi tehnikami lahko identificiramo in kvantificiramo antigene in specifična protitelesa v kliničnih vzorcih. S tem lahko opredelimo okužbo in imunski odziv nanjo.
