Abstrakt		The article stresses the importance of the school outpatient offices (dispensaries), the dispensary method of work and following of schoolchildren and adolescent population as an especially endangered population group, following of health status, supervision over the young population, analyses and unversal preventive activities. With the overview of the ten-year status in school medicine we would like to alert public about the endangered health of school children, and warn that interventions into the organization of youth health care services can have unwanted consequences.
Izvleček		Avtorica s člankom poudarja pomembnost dispanzerjev, dispanzerske metode dela in populacijskega spremljanja šolskih otrok in mladine kot ogrožene skupine prebivalstva: spremljanje zdravstvenega stanja, nadzor nad populacijo mladih, analiziranje in vsestransko preventivno delovanje. S prikazom desetletnega stanja v šolski medicini želimo opozoriti javnost na ogroženo zdravje šolarjev in da imajo posegi v organizaciji službe, ki skrbijo za mlade, lahko neželene posledice.
