Abstrakt		Headache is a very frequent symptom in childhood and adolescence. The reason for headache can be located intracranially or in the extracranial structures. Migraines often occur in the childhood, but are even more frequent in adolescence. Tension headache is the most frequent kind of headache in children. The other kinds of headaches are less common, except those that have extracranial etiology and are not dealt with in this article.
Izvleček		Glavobol je pri otrocih pogost simptom. Vzrok glavobola je lahko v intrakranialnem prostoru ali v ekstrakranialnih strukturah. V otroški dobi, posebno pa v dobi mladostnika, je migrena pogosta. Še pogosteje imajo otroci tenzijske glavobole. Ostale vrste glavobolov so redkejše, če izvzamemo ekstrakranialne vzroke glavobolov, ki pa v članku niso opisani.
