Abstrakt		Background: Er:YAG laser ablates and cuts tissue with surgical precision with minimal collateral thermal damage due to it's wavelenght 2940 nm which is strongly absorbed by liquid water in tissue. During last three years different skin disorders have been treated and optimal laser parameters were designed. Conclusions: The Er:YAG laser with properly selected parameters (for ablation and for coagulation) was found to be an effective tool in oculoplastic surgery.
