Abstrakt		Children laughter play and carelessnes can be interrupted with unexpected and tragical event - injury. His / her usual experience of surrounding is colapsed and he/ she finds himself/herself in a new situation. He / she cannot help himself / herself, therefore he / she looks around for help. Most of the injuries arise during the play at home, inthe backyard, in the kindergarden or in school. Those injuries are the minor. Tragic injuries mosttly happen in traffic. Of cource we cannot forger the tortured children. preferably, the injured child must be attend to by an experienced traumatologice team. The statistic of injured children in Accidents and Emergency Centre in Ljubljana in 1997 shows us different typs of injuris. These are children up to 12 years old.
