Abstrakt | The use of percutaneously introduced prosthetic devices is a big step in primary modelity in interventional cardiology. Maintaining the luminal integrity of coronary vesells is today possible with an increasing rate. The results of interventional cardiology have become much better. Feasibility and safety of stent implantation has also made an influence on a wide spread of clinical indications. We have described the development of many kinds of coronary stents and also the evolution of associated anticoagulation and antiagregation therapy. The unequivocal indications for stenting are currently only those few which have been supported by observational and randomised trials, and are limited to a very few stent types. The definitive evidence for the use of stents for several specific clinical indications is still lacking. | |
Izvleček | Uporaba koronarnih žilnih opornic predstavlja logičen nadaljnji korak v razvoju perkutanega zdravljenja koornarne bolezni srca. S tem načinom so se izboljšali rezultati interventne kardiologije. Prav zaradi nekaterih slabosti klasične koronarne angioplastike je ta metoda zdravljenja pokazala v zadnjih letih hiter in dinamičen napredek. Uporaba koronarnih žilnih opornic je postala relativno enostavna, ob tem pa izredno koristna za izboljšanje končnega rezultata tovrstnega zdravljenja. Opisane so vse faze nastanka in razvoja, ob tem pa tudi vzporednega razvoja in nadaljnjih sprememb antikoagulantnega in antiagregacijskega zdravljenja. Opisane so ožje in širše indikacije za interventni poseg na koronarnem ožilju. Vzporedno z razvojem tehnike in uporabe koronarnih žilnih opornic v svetu se je ta metoda uspešno razvijala tudi v Ljubljani. | |
