Abstrakt		Headache is a frequent complaint during childhood. over the last few decades, its prevalence has been increasing. Tension-type headaches are most frequent in childhood; migraine is less common. Periodic migrainous syndromes are a special kind of migraine occuring in children. Psychosocial factors play an important role in childhood headache. In adolescence, anxiety and depresion often accompany headache and help from a psychologist may be needed.
Izvleček		Glavobol je pri otrocih pogost. V zadnjih desetletjih se kaže povečanje prevalence glavobola pri otrocih. Najpobostejši so glavoboli tenzijskega tipa, manj je migrenskih. Posebnost v otroški dobi so periodični migrenski sidnromi. Posebej pri mladostnikih glavobol pogosto spremlja anksioznost in depresija in takrat potrebuje tudi pomoč psihologa.
