Abstrakt     Modern imaging techniques - ultrasound (US), computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance (MR) help to determine the diagnosis of the liver, bile ducts or pancreatic diseases. They also provide necessary information concerning the progress of the diseases and help in estimating operability or planned interventions. Every imaging method has limitations and advantages which must be taken into account when deciding on the most appropriate method for solving the individual clinical problem.
