Abstrakt		In the article we are presenting some herpesvirus infections during pregnancy. Acute infection with herpesvirus in early pregnancy can be harmful for the fetus because of possible teratogenic action. Infection later in pregnancy may influence on fetal growth and can cause intrauterine growth retardation of the baby. Infection at the time of delivery may cause conatal infection ofthe baby.
