Abstrakt		25-year old male was addmitted to Center for intensive internal medicine from non-intensive department 1 day after the addmission to the hospital due to acute myocardial infarction of the anterior wall. During the last 14 days before the addmission to hospital he had occasional chest pain at rest. On the addmission to the hospital the pain did not diminish. In spite of typical history and ECG changes the elevated level of myocardial enzymes were thought to be due to intramuscular injection. We would like to emphasize that even in young age acute myocardial infarction should be considered when typical history and ECG changes are present.
