Abstrakt		In this study we tried to correlate the place of growing up with variables in the social environment (family relationship, educational level of parents), sexual behaviour, and drug abuse. The sample was 266 army recruits from six regions. The probe was an anonymous questionaire. Hypotheses were tested against chosen variables. The study pointed to the similarity of the rural and city environment and the specificity of the suburban areas. We determined that there is no need for specific health education programs.
