Abstrakt     Grass. Since June 7th the concentration of the grass pollen in Ljubjana was higher than 40 pollen grains per m3. The rest of the month the concentration was lower. The peak day was on June 1st with 157 grains per m3. In Koper the counts were lower than in Ljubjana. On June 7th the concentration was 57 grains per m3 (Figure 6.2). Trees. In June the pollen of the sweet chestnut appeared in the air. The counts in Koper didn't exceed 50 grains per m3. In Ljubljana the sweet chestnut pollen season started at the end of the first decade of June, the highest counts were registered as Iate as the days after June 23rd. The peak concentration was on June 29th, 237 grains per m3 (Figure 6.3). The pollen of olive tree was present only in Koper in the first decade of June with the peak count 180 pollen grains per m3 on June 4th (Figure 6.5). The pollen of the alder and pine was transported from mountains with the air masses. The concentration of the alder and pine pollen in Ljubljana was lower than 10 grains per m3. The concentration of the pine pollen was a bit higher in Koper (Figure 6.7, 6.8). The pollen of the lime tree and privet was also present in low concentration. Weeds. The pollen of the nettle in Ljubljana and wall pelitory in Koper was in the air all month round (Figure 6.4). The peak counts were on June 24th in Ljubljana (68 grains per m3) and on June 25th in Koper (68 grains per m3). Plantain pollen was on booth locations all month round in the air, the concentration was very low (Figure 6.6). The Chenopodiaceae pollen was also present.
