Abstrakt		The paper reviews pharmacological properties and clinical experience with fluvastatin (LESCOL, Sandoz), the most recent 3-hydroxy-3-methyl-glutaryl coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase inhibitor (or statin) to be introduced for the treatment of primary hypercholesterolaemia, especially in at-risk patients.
