Abstrakt		Among all known methods for the production of pellets, extrusion-spheronisation technology is the most popular one. It is complex method that involves the following steps: preparation of the wet mass (granulation), shaping the wet mass into cylinders (extrusion) rounding of the particles into spheres (spheronisation) and finally drying of the pellets. Extrusion-spheronisation technology is used in a production of matrix pellets, that provide modified release without additional coating.
