Abstrakt		We are presenting the microbiological analysis of infected material of patients with intestinal infection. The most representative infected material is faeces. The leading causes of intestinal infection are salmonellae, viruses, campylobacter. We find that the number of causative agents detected in faeces is too small. The disadvantage lies in the small range of demanded investigations, in the lack of routine diagnostic investigations, the insufficient number of successful diagnostic methods, in the collection and transport of specimens.
Izvleček		V prispevku prikazujemo mikrobiološko analizo kužnin pri bolnikih s črevesno okužbo. Najbolj reprezentativna kužnina je blato. Vodilni povzročitelji črevesnih okužb so salmonele, virusi, kampilobakter. Ugotavljamo, da je število ugotovljenih povzročiteljev v blatu premajhno. Pomanjkljivosti vidimo v premajhnem obsegu zahtevanih preiskav, v pomanjkanju rutinskih diagnostičnih preiskav, v premalo uspešnih diagnostičnih metodah in odvzemih ter transportih vzorcev.
