Abstrakt     Laparoscopic diagnostic procedure nawadays has been extended to perform surgical corrections of the fallopian tubes The rules of microsurgy should be respected. We have analysed the success rates of endoscopic tubal surgery in the group of 101 women with distal tubal lesions, operated between, 1993-1996. According to the inquiery until September 1998 40% of women became pregnant with no further treatment., 55% did not become pregnant and 5% were lost from evidence. The live brth rate was 26%, the abortion rate 6% women, and the ectopic pregnancy rate 8%. One year after the operation 46 women who did not become pregnant entered the IVF/ET programme. Until september 1998 IVF/ET was performed in 130 cycles (2.8 cycles per women). The cumulative pregnancy rate was 40%, the cumulative live binh rate 28%, the abonion rate 11*/o abonion rate and ectopic pregnancy rate 2%. Ten percent of women with unsuccessful operation did not enter the IVF/ET programme. The real combined pregnacy rate of an operation and 130 IVF cycles in this group of patients was 41 %. By improvement of both the operative techniques and IVF/ET and by better selection of patients for the two treatment modalities, the results can be further improved.
