Abstrakt     The clasiffication of female urinary incontinence is described. Urinary incotinence is divided into urethal and extraurethal. In the group of urethal urinary incotinence there are stress urinary incotinence, urge urinary incontinence, overflow urinary incotinence, mixed (stress and urge) urinary incontinence consist of congenital (etopic ureter, extrophia vesicae urinarie) and acquired urinary incontinence (fistulas). Another classification distinguishes between absolute and relative urinary and relative urinaryincontinence. Absolute urinary incontinence is characterized by constant, and relative urinary incontinence by sporadic is characterized by sporadic leakage of urine, occurring only in specific situations and /or activities. The congenital cause of urinary incontinence and fistulas are classified among absolute types of urinary incontinence and all other forms among the relative types. The exact determination of the form and degree of urinary incontinence largely affects the choise of treatment. the most frequent forms of urinary incontinence are described, namely stress urinary incontinence, urge urinary incontinence and mixed urinary incontinence and signs and diagnostic procedure are described in detail. The most important cause of stress urinary incontinence is the dislocation of the proximal urethra from the region of intraabdominal pressure. Signs, symptoms and diagnostic procedure for urge and mixed (stress and urge) urinary incontinence are described.
