Abstrakt		Due to extensive and multiple use of the computer program SAP-IV we have decide to instal it on the VAX 11-750 machine. Instalation required a large quantity of programming due to great differences between the CDC (the original program version) and the VAX. Testing was performed basically in the field of pipe elements, based on a comparision between results, obtained with the code EPIPE and published in Piping Benchmark Problems, Vol.1. (Dinamic Analysis Uniform Support Motion, Response Spectrum Method), NUREG-CR-1677. Our results show good agreement with the result of EPIPE, so we considered our version of SAP-IV is verified for pipe elements. Along with package installation, the graphical postprocessor is being developd for 2- and 3-D mesh plotting.
