Abstrakt     The infection rate of common tick Ixodes ricinus (Ixodidae, Acarina) with bacteria Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato on cattle pasture ground and the nearest vicinity was estimated. Ticks were collected in five areas of Slovenia in April, May and September 1996 and May 1997. With the method of indirect immunofluorescence (IIF) 696 nymphs, male and female ticks of species I. ricinus, the most common tick in Slovenia was investigated. Our proper rabbit hyperimmune antiborrelial sera was used. Depending on investigated territory, we have estimated the infection rate from 9.8% to 21.8% of positive ticks, and positive correlation between infection rate at ticks and infection rate at grazing cattle on the same territory (P < 0.01).
Izvleček     Preučevali smo stopnjo okuženosti navadnega klopa, Ixodes ricinus, z bakterijo B. burgdorferi sensu lato na pašnikih in v njihovi najožji okolici, kjer so se pasle črede goved. Klope smo zbirali v aprilu, maju in septembru leta 1996 ter v maju 1997 na petih območjih v R Sloveniji. Z metodo posredne imunofluorescence (IIF) smo preiskali 696 nimf, samcev in samic v Sloveniji najbolj razširjenega klopa I. ricinus. V testih smo uporabljali lasten kunčji hiperimunski antiborelijski serum. V odvisnosti od preučevanega področja smo ugotovili od 9,8% do 21,8% pozitivnih klopov in pozitivno korelacijo med stopnjo okužbe klopov in stopnjo okužbe pašnih goved na istem območju (P < 0,01).
