Abstrakt		Two different animal species (rat n=60 and rabbit n=30) of both sexes were used in subacute toxicity trial of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) and 4-chloro-2-methylphenoxyacetic acid (MCPA). The herbicide 2,4-D was being administered in doses of 10 mg and 100 mg, and herbicide MCPA in doses of 15 mg and 150 mg per kilogram of body weight. The obtained values were compared with the values of the control group. The blood samples were analysed values of erythrocytes, leukocytes, hemoglobin, and haematocrit were measured by cell counter (Coulter counter). Differential leukocyte count were determined microscopically on blood smears stained by Poppenheim. The values of red and white blood count did not differ significantly in any of the treated group of either species from the corresponding values of the controls. The obtained values in young of treated rabbits were not significantly different from those of control young too.
Izvleček		Poskus subakutne toksičnosti 2,4-dikloofenoksiocetne kisline (2,4-D) in 4-kloro-2-metilfenoksiocetne kisline (MCPA) je bil opravljen na samcih in samicah podgan in kuncev (podgane n =60, kunci n=30). Herbicid 2,4-D je bil uporabljen v odmerku 10 in 100 mg, herbicid MCPA pa v odmerku 15 in 150 mg na kilogram telesne mase. Število eritrocitov in levkocitov, vsebnost hemoglobina in vrednost hematokrita smo izmerili z aparatom Couleter counter. Za oceno diferencialne bele krvne slike smo pripravili krvne razmaze po Pappenheimu. V poskusu nismo igotovili statistično značilnih razlik med opazovanimi vrednostmi med poskusnimi in kontrolnimi skupinami odraslih živali obeh vrst in spolov niti med mladiči kunčic.
