| Abstrakt | This article presents an outline of immune-mediated skin diseases. We discuss the etiopathogenesis of contact allergic dermatitis as a characteristic example of this group of skin disorders in detail and emphasise the role of epidermal Langerhans cells. The author outlines the epidemiology of contact allergy and presents the results of patch testing at the Department of Dermatovenerology in Ljubljana over a 10-year period (1989-1998). | |
| Izvleček | Prispevek navaja najpomembnejše imunsko pogojene bolezni kože. Podrobneje je predstavljena etiopatogeneza alergijskega kontaktnega dermatitisa kot značilnega predstavnika te skupine dermatoz. Posebej je poudarjena vloga epidermalnih Langerhansovih celic. Epidemiološka situacija na področju kontaktne alergije je prikazana z analizo rezultatov epikutanega testiranja na Dermatovenerološki klinika Ljubljana v 10-letnem obdobju (1989-1998). | |
