| Abstrakt | Two main complications occurr during statin treatment, the increase of liver aminotransferases in plasma and myopathies. Trials to improve these complications by application of ubiquinone are described and critically evaluated. At the end , some author's oppinions are given in regard to special indication for prescribing ubiquinone in conjuction with statin treatment (older people, liver disease in history, alcoholism). | |
| Izvleček | Opisana sta glavna zapleta pri jemanju statinov: zvečana serumska koncentracija jetrnih aminotransferaz in miopatije. Navedeni in kritično ovrednoteni so poskusi zdravljenja z ubikinonom. Ob koncu je podano mnenje avtorja, kdaj bi dajanje ubikinona bolnikom, ki se zdravijo s statini, mogoče koristilo (starejši ljudje, stanje po prebolelih jetrnih boleznih, alkoholizem). | |
