Abstrakt     In the first part of the manuscript are described different mechanisms of natural resistance of honeybees against varroa mites. Special emphasize is made on behavioral mechanisms, which can contribute efficient decrease of varroa mites abundance in the colony. Varroatosis resistance consists usually of very different mechanisms, which are composed together and genetically fixed. Efficiency of the genetically fixed mechanisms is also dependent on natural conditions and also on adaptation of varroa mites to the bee. We have to take into account that also parasite has to adapt to the host, otherwise it does not survive. In the second part are overviewed my own observations of allogrooming behavior, which are supplemented with novel findings about this interesting social behavior of bees. Until now different research reports about varroatosis resistance have shown that allogrooming didn't have a significant contribution. Even though we could expect in future more research projects, which would be directed toward possible changes in fixed behavior patterns of allogrooming, which could increase probability of varroa mites removal from the adult honeybees.
