Abstrakt		This paper describes ascending and descending leg venography. The indications and relative contraindications for this procedure are given, along with pre-procedure preparation, the procedure itself and possible complications. Various magnetic resonance techniques which are used for venous system imaging are introduced. In the conclusion, the roles of contrast venography and MR venography are defined.
Izvleček		V članku opisujemo ascendentno in descendentno venografijo nog. Predstavljamo indikacije, relativne kontraindikacije, opisujemo pripravo na poseg, poseg in morebitne zaplete. Prikazujemo različne MR-tehnike, ki se uporabljajo za prikaz venskega sistema nog. V zaključku opredeljujemo mesto kontrastne venografije in pomen MR-venografije.
