Abstrakt | Measurement of muscle belly response is important for skeletal muscles biomechanical characteristics determination. Observation of muscle characteristics is extremely important for patients with muscular disorders, persons with muscle injury and for enhancement of training process of athletes. The metod for biomechanical characteristics measurement is non-invasive and enables measurement of muscle responses close to the measured muscle. Due to many advantages and also originality of measuring method it is interesting to build a mathematical model of skeletal muscle which would help with analysis of skeletal muscle properties. The model is based on transport and binding of calcium ions inside a muscle cell. Properties of slow and fast muscle fibers are modeled separately so from the shape of muscle belly response a rate of different muscle fibers could be defined. | |
